More ammunition missing from army warehouses

Defence Minister Peter Gajdoš confirmed on Wednesday after the Cabinet meeting the report about missing ammunition from the military warehouse in Sklené. The information was first reported by TV Markíza on Tuesday, according to which 300,000 cartridges were missing, used for sports shooting and individual target training. Minister Gajdoš said that he passed on the information about the missing ammunition from Sklené to the law enforcement authorities. According to the former Defence Minister and current Opposition Freedom and Solidarity MP Ľubomír Galko, the missing military ammunition is too serious a topic not to be spoken about, and he is convinced that the public needs to know the precautionary measures taken by the Defence Ministry.
