The Slovak president Andrej Kiska accepted the challenge for a chess duel from 10-year-old Lucia Kopičáková from Lučenec, who is a European Union champion in her age category. The duel took place in the Presidential palace on Wednesday. Even though Kiska confided already before the duel that he was sure of losing, he managed to stay in the game for over half an hour. "I hope I resisted at least a little. It's the first game I have finished game for about 40 years," admitted Kiska after the duel. Lucia has been playing chess for over 4 years now.
