Majority of Slovaks want far-right party banned

The extremist party Kotleba - People's Party Our Slovakia (ĽSNS) should be banned, according to 68.5 percent of Slovaks. This is based on the results of a survey which Polis Slovakia conducted on a sample of 1,208 respondents from June 13-19. To the question: "Prosecutor-General Jaromír Čižnár sent a motion to the Supreme Court demanding the disbanding of ĽSNS from [its head] Marian Kotleba. Do you support the Supreme Court banning this party?" 68.5 percent of the poll's respondents answered yes. 18.6 percent of respondents, however, felt that the party should not be disbanded.
