OECD sees Slovakia's GDP growth at 3.3% this year

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has confirmed the continuing significant growth of the Slovak economy, predicting the country's GDP to grow 3.3% this year and 4.1% next year, according to the OECD prognosis released on Wednesday. The OECD also forecasts a drop in Slovakia's public debt. This year it should account for 51.7% of GDP, going down to 50.2% of GDP next year. According to the OECD's latest prognosis, inflation should approach 2% in the upcoming years. OECD's secretary general, José Ángel Gurría, when presenting the report in Bratislava on Wednesday stated that Slovakia should take advantage of this profitable situation.
