Foreign students will have the chance to improve their Slovak, with Comenius University's Centre for Further Education organising its yearly course, titled the Summer University of the Slovak Language and Culture. The course will take place from July 2-21. There will be three courses offered, including Slovak culture, the language and professional subjects for compatriots. Students will also have planned workshops and excursions, such as boat cruises along the Danube and a trip to Devín. Additional goals for these summer courses are to expand the knowledge of the literature, history and culture of Slovakia and Bratislava.
