Next year the salaries and bonuses of top public officials will stay at the level of this year, according to an amendment to the law on the remuneration of certain senior state officials approved by the Government on Wednesday. The salaries of Judges and prosecutors will be frozen at the level of 2012.
The Finance Ministry estimates that this measure saves the state budget €8.2 million. Parliament still has to approve the amendment.
