Justice Minister Lucia Žitňanská of the Most-Híd party will consider resigning from her post if Deputy Justice Minister Monika Jankovská, nominee of the strongest governing SMER-SD party, is elected to the Judicial Council. The information was brought on Wednesday by the Denník N daily, which referred to several people from the Most-Híd party's caucus. As its chair Gábor Gál confirmed, Jankovská's nomination is a problem and Justice Minister Žitňanská considers it as a certain act of distrust against her. Gál emphasized, that it is the Justice Minister's personal decision to consider whether she resigns from her post. According to the Denník N daily, the Justice Minister should discuss the topic with PM Robert Fico on Thursday.
