The protests denouncing corruption that were organised by students in Bratislava and Košice recently will continue with additional marches in Prešov and Žilina on Monday afternoon. Meanwhile, students collected some 40,000 signatures from the public for a petition in support of their demands. At least 100,000 signatures are needed to put the issue on the agenda of a parliamentary session. Among the main demands of the march's organisers - secondary school and university students - are thorough investigations into the notorious Bašternák and Gorilla scandals, as well as the dismissals of Interior Minister Róbert Kaliňák, Police Corps President Tibor Gašpar and Special Prosecutor Dušan Kováčik.
