The two most prominent Slovak YouTubers, Peter "Expl0ited" Altof and Matej "Selassie" Slažanský, have come into conflict with each other on the internet, fuelling it with false allegations. These videos reached around one million of young viewers, ranking among the week's most viewed videos on the Slovak version of YouTube. The conflict turned out to be part of a campaign to warn their fans not to believe everything they see on the Internet. The campaign was supported by the NGO GLOBSEC Policy Institute.
