Slovakia and Ukraine managed to reduce the number of illegal migrants thanks to bilateral co-operation. Border Representatives Ľudovít Biro and Mykola Lytvyn from both countries praised the agreement during their meeting adding that the new agreement on joint patrolling is supposed to move this co-operation to an even higher level.
“The current issues of co-operation and the vision for the future were also discussed by Police Corps President Tibor Gašpar and Ambassador of Ukraine to Slovakia Oleh Havasi,” said Police Corps Presidium spokesperson Denisa Baloghová.
