The volume of property loans continued to grow in April, with banks providing loans towards housing with an overall volume of €22.8 billion as of the end of the month, according to the Slovak Central Bank. When it comes to individual banks VUB appeared on top with 43.2 percent of the total number of mortgage loans, followed by Slovenská sporiteľňa on 23.5 percent and Tatra Banka on 15.5 percent.
