Slovak president Andrej Kiska reacted to the withdrawal of the USA from the Paris Agreement on his Twitter account. As he wrote: "The effort to address climate change is not a question of political opinion but basic responsibility." Slovak Environment Minister László Sólymos also expressed his disappointment, finding Donald Trump's decision selfish. In his opinion, it is the EU's turn to become, together with China and India, the global community's leader in fighting climate change.
