Tens of diplomats visit Tatra region

Over 40 ambassadors accredited to Slovakia visited the Tatra region for two days last weekend, following an invitation by Foreign and European Affairs Minister, Miroslav Lajčák. They went to several destinations in the High Tatras, visited Spiš Castle, as well as the historical town of Levoča (Prešov region) where they saw the world-famous Altar of Master Pavol in St. Jacob's Basilica. "Many of them praised the high level of tourist infrastructure and services. This is one of the goals of the ministry's activities - to present Slovakia as a country worth spending a holiday in and worth investing in, stated the ministry's press department.
