Analysis: Too Many Managers in Central Government

Central government authorities have too many managers, showed an analysis for the ESO reform prepared by the Interior Ministry. Based on measurements of the department, an ideal situation is nine subordinates per manager.

However, of the 22 central state authorities, experts have found only one in which this was the case. In most of them, the number of subordinates ranged from about three to five people. The Slovak Land Fund is one of the institutions, which in the coming years could be transformed in the public administration reform ESO, admitted Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák.
