An inspection into the stocks of the Slovak Armed Forces hasn't revealed any ammunition being missing, apart from the ammo that has probably been stolen in Trenčín-Kubra, Defence Minister Peter Gajdoš stated at the parliamentary defence committee on Tuesday. Early in April it emerged that an unspecified kind of ammunition went missing from the Slovak Armed Forces' stocks in Trenčín-Kubra. "The missing ammunition was stolen," said Parliamentary Vice-chairman Andrej Hrnčiar referring to a report presented to the committee at the time by Gajdoš. Meanwhile, the General Staff ordered inventory checks of all military stocks throughout Slovakia. Nonetheless, a thorough inspection, including the stocks of missiles, requires around six months, noted Gajdoš on Tuesday.
