The size of a country is never measured by its population or area, it is measured by the people and their thinking, said Slovak President Andrej Kiska while addressing participants in the Slovak-Monacan economic forum organised by the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SOPK) and held in Bratislava on Tuesday in the presence of Albert II, Prince of Monaco. Kiska noted that their discussion with the Monacan guest also touched on Monaco's efforts to focus on products and services with higher added value. "It's logical that they are pressed to do so by the size of their territory, too. However, this is exactly something that can drag the most talented people into any country," said the Slovak President. "We all already know today that every innovation or company is primarily about people, particularly the most talented ones. I am proud that we are a country that has something to show off. We have a fantastic growth of GDP, we have our budget under control and our unemployment has dropped," added Kiska. Albert II, Prince of Monaco, said that his country is very active in the economic sphere and therefore, it welcomes foreign investors in its territory. "Monaco is an open economic crossroads and that's why economic growth in Monaco is permanent. The contacts acquired at this forum should be used in new mutual trade opportunities," added the Monacan guest.
