The Foreign Affairs Ministry did not violate the Public Procurement Act during the organization of events related to the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU. The Public Procurement Office concluded this after an inspection at the ministry. The authority scrutinized whether conditions for exemption from public procurement rules had been fulfilled. Transparency International Slovakia, which originally came up with the allegations against the Foreign Ministry, stated in a reaction that the inspection by the Public Procurement Office only looked into the problem of the Viva Europa opening concert, and did not look into the contracts for the presentation of the presidency logo, audio-visual services or the video for the opening concert.
