Centrist Emmanuel Macron won the first round of France's presidential elections on Sunday among French citizens living in Slovakia, gaining 141 votes ahead of the conservative François Fillon on 96 votes, press attaché of the French Embassy in Bratislava Didier Rogasik told the TASR press agency. The National Front's Marine Le Pen was third with 27 votes. In the election as a whole, Macron and Le Pen have made it into a run-off scheduled for May 7th.
