On Monday, Slovak president Andrej Kiska sent a letter of condolences to the French president Francois Hollande expressing sorrow over the terrorist attack which occurred last week. On Thursday April 20th, on the Champs-Élyséés in Paris one police officer lost his life and two more people suffered injuries. Subsequently, the police shot the attacker.
