In 2015, Slovakia granted 309 citizenships to foreigners with 66% of them being from outside the EU, Eurostat wrote last week. The most successful applicants were from Ukraine; 23.6%, followed by 22.7% from the Czech Republic and 10% from the United States. When looking at Slovaks applying for foreign citizenship, they were the third most successful applicants in Hungary.
