A commemorative plaque was revealed in a military museum at the top of the Monte Grappa Mountain in the Italian Alps in memory of the Slovak soldiers who lost their lives in this region during WWI, the Slovak Foreign and European Ministry wrote on its website last week. The project for preserving this historical memory was carried out on the initiative of the Slovak Embassy in Rome in cooperation with the Slovak Interior Ministry, the Italian defence ministry and the National Alpine Association - the mountain infantry as well as with representatives of the military complex itself. The plaque located in the main building of the museum is accessible to all visitors.
