Slovak Defence Minister Martin Glváč says that Slovakia needs to send a military attaché to Brazil in order to develop defence co-operation between the two countries.
The minister said so on Tuesday after a meeting of the defence ministers of the V4 countries (Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland) with Brazilian Defence Minister Celso Amorim in Bratislava on the same day. “I believe that this co-operation will not only be formal. We will do everything we can to create in a short time the post of military attaché in Brazil in order to have a co-ordinator of our activities. The goals and needs that we've defined aren't just about economic matters, but of course also about military ones," said Glváč.
