Slovak President Andrej Kiska has sent a telegram of condolences to the Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf concerning Friday's (April 7) Stockholm attack. On behalf of Slovak citizens and himself, Kiska expressed his deep sympathy and solidarity to relatives of the victims and wished a swift recovery to those injured in the attack, when a lorry smashed into a store in Stockholm. Condolences to the Swedish people were sent also by Parliamentary chair Andrej Danko. In reference to the Palm Sunday attacks in Coptic churches in Egypt, Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák sent a telegram of condolences to his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry. Lajčák has assured his counterpart that the Slovak Republic sympathizes with the struggle of the Egyptian people against terrorism.
