State budget deficit down 61 percent in March

The state budget posted a deficit of €337 million in March, down by 61.7 percent in comparison to the same period of 2016, the Finance Ministry announced on Monday. Tax revenues were up by 12.5 percent) year-on-year in the third month of 2017. Expenditures related to servicing the state debt fell by 16.2 percent year-on-year.
