The V2 Nuclear Power Plant in Jaslovske Bohunice has been inspected by a team of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO). The peer review was aimed at improving the safety and reliability of the nuclear power plant.
“Several of the measures that have been taken since 2007 showed improvement in targeted areas,” said the head of the team of experts Zbynek Grund. A peer review is not an inspection. It is carried out on a voluntary basis. WANO peer reviews are held roughly once every six years.
