MP Kollár accused of immoral behaviour

The opposition We Are Family party leader Boris Kollár was accused of immoral behaviour regarding texting a 15-year-old drug addict resident at the Clean Day resocialisation centre in Galanta. Kollár, who conceded that he was in contact with the girl in question but claimed that he did not know how old she was or that she was from a resocialisation centre, says that current accusations are nothing but a campaign to discredit him. The Clean Day resocialisation centre made headlines in 2016 because of accusations of the sexual abuse of its clients and its repeated failure to protect children's rights - accusations levelled against it by opposition politicians. The Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family initiated proceedings against the centre, with the Accreditation Committee proposing to take away Clean Day's accreditation. Ultimately, however, the ministry chose to preserve the centre's accreditation.
