The Cabinet approved a report on the refinancing of the project of public-private partnership – or in short PPP project on the R1 dual carriageway between Nitra and Tekovske Nemce and the northern bypass of Banská Bystrica. The original bank loan will be replaced with the issuing of a project bond with a maturity date set for the year 2039. The re-financing of the project might save the state some €130 million, stated Transport Minister Jan Počiatek.
