The number of new orders in Slovakia's industry rose by 8.6 percent year-on-year in December 2016 to reach the value of €3.74 billion, the Statistics Office reported on Thursday. Meanwhile, the seasonally adjusted month-on-month increase amounted to 1.5 percent. As for the whole of 2016, new orders in industry increased by 6 percent to reach €48.45 billion.
