Four Slovaks from the eastern Slovak town of Trebišov have been accused of human trafficking. They were allegedly part of an internationally organized gang, moreover the police states that this gang was led by a Slovak man. "The police have proven so far that members of the group lured, transported and sold at least 12 women from the district of Trebišov," said the spokeswoman for the Police Corps Presidium Denisa Baloghová. These women were sent to England and Scotland. The four men face imprisonment for seven to twelve years.
