The bomb alarm at AuPark shopping mall in Bratislava proved to be false, Bratislava Regional Police spokesperson Karina Povazanova announced on Tuesday. Earlier in the day, a telephone call was made to the emergency line 112, in which a male voice announced that a bomb had been planted in the AuPark shopping mall.
Police patrols along with pyro-technician and dog-handler units were sent to the site, but didn't find any explosives. The police have already launched a criminal investigation into panic-mongering. The operation of public bus No. 50 has been restored in its entirety; the route was shortened during the police shut down of the surrounding area.
