President Kiska visits Kenya

Slovak President Andrej Kiska began his first-ever visit to Kenya on Sunday. The goal of the stay is to bolster bilateral cooperation as well as to evaluate the results of more than 20 years of Slovak-Kenyan cooperation concerning development aid. Slovak doctor Vladimír Krčméry, who participates in several projects in Kenya, praised the effort of Kenyans, saying that Slovak humanitarian workers left as soon as some of the locals mobilised. On his way to Kenya, President Kiska stopped in Egypt to meet the local Trade and Industry Minister. They evaluated options of mutual cooperation and both showed interest in intensifying business mission.
