Two cases of SARI infection in central Slovakia

Epidemiologists reported two cases of severe acute respiratory infections (SARI) in the Revúca district, central Slovakia last week. "The first one is a 68-year old man, and the second is a 65-year old man," said Mary Tolnayová, spokesperson of the local Regional Office of Public Health, who also said that none of them were vaccinated against flu. As TASR reported, several kindergartens and elementary schools were closed in the region last week, due to an increased number of respiratory diseases and flu.
