The opposition parties OĽaNO-NOVA and Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) are preparing to collect signatures among MPs to initiate an extraordinary parliamentary session to dismiss Prime Minister Robert Fico. This was announced by Opposition party leaders on Thursday. Later that day, the Government Office's press department stated that Prime Minister Robert Fico will not be taking part in the special parliamentary session seeking his removal over energy prices. At least 30 signatures are required, with the parliamentary chair then obliged to convene a session within seven days.
