New socialist secret police officers disclosed

The Nation's Memory Institute presented a detailed reconstruction of staff and the organisational structure of the regional Bratislava State Police administration in the years 1975-1989. "Today, we are going to make public the big fish that organised the network of secret agents, both aware and unaware collaborators to make either informers or cautionary tales out of them," informed Ondrej Krajňák, Chair of the Board of Directors. The Nation's Memory Institute has become the first institution of its kind in the former Eastern Bloc which has reconstructed the organisation and staff of secret service departments active in its territory in the years 1966-1989.
