Flights between Bratislava and Košice are in danger again, according to Hospodárske noviny daily. After the failure of Sky Europe, Danube Wings, too, is struggling with the line.
The air carrier cut flights to two per week and still does not have its winter schedule ready. Moreover, it is selling its two aircrafts. “During several years of ‘flying’ on this line we have not been able to find enough passengers ready to pay the real costs of its daily operation,” said spokesman for the airline Ľudovít Tóth.
