Elements of fascism are present in Slovak politics, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico told the Public Broadcaster RTVS on Saturday. The PM said that everyone in Slovakia bears some responsibility for the rising extremism in the country; starting with media, NGOs, the school system as well as parents. An MP of the opposition party Ordinary people Veronika Remišová is one of those who blame the government for the rise of extremism. Last November she told the aktuality.sk website, that Fico's Smer-SD party has been in the government for the last 10 years with just one short break and, as Remišová said "they had a chance to change everything".
