Slovak National Party MP Anton Hrnko was disqualified from driving on Saturday. He announced this fact on his Facebook page. He claimed he had wanted to clear the way for a police car that was approaching him from behind so he moved into the central lane of the motorway. Following this, the police stopped him and fined him for not giving way to the car in the right lane. As he did not agree that he had obstructed anyone, he refused to pay the fine. The police therefore withheld his licence.
