The now former UKIP leader Nigel Farage should not have 'bugged out' from his party's leadership as soon as the Brexit results were announced according to MEP and leader of the opposition Freedom and Solidarity party Richard Sulik, who appeared on the TV discussion programme, 'V politike', on Sunday. Sulik said the same thing to Farage in person in the European Parliament. Farage told him he had quit after he'd fulfilled his mission. The Slovak MEP said that he might welcome Farage as the European Parliament president, as it would take a different course under his command. Antonio Tajani became the new European Parliament President a couple of days ago and Sulik's view is that "With this guy, the European Parliament will carry on in in about the same direction as it has until now." UKIP campaigned for Britain's exit from the European Union in last year's referendum.
