There are more people using the internet in Slovakia than in Estonia or the Czech Republic. According to the recent data from Eurostat, some 80 percent of people aged 16-74 were using the internet in Slovakia in 2012, said UniCredit Bank Slovakia chief economist Lubomir Korsnak.
More internet enthusiasts can be found only in Scandinavia and the Benelux countries, where the use of internet exceeded 90 percent. The least people using the popular facility live in Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Italy.
