Slovakia will send humanitarian aid to Syrian immigrants searching for an asylum centre in Bulgaria. The country had asked for help after a recent significant influx of illegal immigrants, mainly from Syria, Peter Lazarov from the Interior Ministry's press department informed.
Field beds with mattresses and counterpanes, plastic dishes, spoons and similar material will be loaded onto a lorry at the Logistic Base for Emergency Situations in the Bratislava borough of Vajnory on Saturday. The humanitarian aid should reach those in need on Monday.
