Slovakia has some extremely cold days ahead. Meteorologists expect that 6th January, also known as the Three Kings' Day will be the first day of the arctic winter in Slovakia. Daytime temperatures will drop to levels ranging from -15 to -9 degrees Celsius in the southwest and from -4 to -8 degrees Celsius in central Slovakia. The Arctic weather will continue on Saturday. Meteorologists are also warning of strong winds and the formation of snowdrifts on the roads across the whole of Slovakia.
