Salaries to grow in kindergartens and elementary art schools

Pedagogues in kindergartens and at elementary art schools will see their salaries grow by 6% in September 2017, said Education Minister Peter Plavčan. At the end of November it was still unclear if the salaries will grow for these pedagogues. According to Plavčan, the question remains who will finance the hike; either the state or the local municipalities. The topic should be discussed at the Cities and Villages Union of Slovakia Council meeting in January.
