More than €387 million was invested by the end of 2016 in transport and informatisation projects under the Operational Programme Integrated Infrastructure (OPII). Thus, the Transport, Construction and Regional Development Ministry has drawn 60% of the funds from all operational programmes in Slovakia. "Aside from phased highway projects, which were started under a previous operational programme, we've also managed to launch important new projects this year that will increase the contracted volumes and the drawing of funds next year," said Transport Minister Árpád Érsek (Most-Híd).
