Foxconn to expand production in Nitra

Foxconn Slovakia plans to expand the production range of its factory located in Nitra industrial park Sever (North). The new production of consumer electronics will take place in an existing production hall, part of which hasn't been in use to date. According to the project documentation, the investor plans to install two new assembly lines. The production will be secured in a two-shift operation, with 20-40 administration employees and 80-120 manufacturing workers. The reconstruction of the premises is slated to conclude in mid-2017 and will cost approximately €400,000.
