Over 1200 meeting, 230 members of the team and hours of negotiations and more than 1000 journalist. This is how Peter Javorčík Permanent Representative of the Slovak Republic to the EU characterized the Slovak Presidency of the EU Council. The Economic and Financial Affairs team absolved the highest number of meetings - over a hundred. It managed to reach 27 agreements with the EU budged among them. The environmental team working especially on Paris agreement was also very busy. Before and during the presidency Permanent Representative of the Slovak Republic to the EU increased the number of its workers to 230. Their number will continuously decline to 90 as before presiding the EU Council.
