A large Slav gate is to be erected in Bojna, Western Slovakia. The gate would be a replica of the 18 meters long and 5 meters wide gate which archaeologists discovered in this area, dating back to the 8th or 9th century. This will be a large gate, one of its kind in Central Europe. “Until now, only small parts of similar fortifications would be built. We decided to reconstruct the whole gate”, stated archaeologists working on it.
