Slovakia's foreign trade balance in groceries has gone into deep deficit, with the difference between imports and exports during the first 10 months this year being as much as €1 billion, reported the Slovak Agriculture and Food Chamber. Comparted to the same period last year, the difference has jumped up by a quarter of a billion Euro, representing 33,9%. According to the producers' organisation, the highest year-on-year decline was recorded in exports of crops and animal products.
