Britain should not emerge victorious from negotiations on London's relations with the EU after Brexit, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico made it clear. "The UK mustn't win this struggle. That would be a huge mistake on our part. Freedom of movement is non-negotiable. He noted it would be unacceptable if Britain successfully negotiated benefits on the one hand, but blocked EU citizens from seeking jobs or studies there on the other.
Fico is convinced that the other 27 EU countries need to enjoy more advantageous conditions and that every member state must be clearly aware that it is worthwhile remaining in the EU.
