Foreign Affairs Minister at V4 meeting on Western Balkans

Slovakia's Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák travelled today to Warsaw as part of a Visegrad Four (V4) meeting, including countries from the Western Balkans; Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Serbia. A central theme of the talks will be security issues in Central Europe and the Balkans during times of increased threats, along with methods of reconciliation and convergence for citizens in these regions. The meeting took place shortly after the presentation of an enlargement package by the European Commission, which assessed the progress of each candidate country aspiring to enter the EU. During his visit to Warsaw, Lajčák will also take part in bilateral talks with partners from Croatia, Macedonia and Kosovo.
