Drones won’t replace courier drivers any time soon in Slovakia

Employees working in delivery and courier services in Slovakia shouldn't be worried about their jobs for now, as current legislation prevents the development of a delivery system via automated flying drones. This was report in the Pravda daily in a Monday story. Nevertheless, some big online stores have begun experimenting with what such a drone delivery service could possibly look like. However, none of these firms have put them into commercial use because Slovak law stipulates that pilotless aircraft can't be used for the transport of people, luggage, cargo or post.
